A Trip Was Just What I Needed

I’ve just returned from a two week trip in China to visit family and attend my cousin’s wedding.

Going away wasn’t what I expected.

To be quite honest, at first I dreaded leaving Canada because I felt like I have unfinished business here – which is finding a full-time job.  However, it turned out for the better. I realize how burned out I was from this job hunt and what I needed exactly was to get a breath of fresh air and travel.

Within the short time that I was there, I visited Hong Kong, Hai Feng (in the Guandong Province), Guanzhou, Chengdu (Sichuan), JiuZhai (Sichuan) and finally, Shanghai.

The best part of this journey was sharing it with my friends through social media. It was an opportunity to show people how there is so much to explore there and how each experience is unique.

Even for myself, there was a period in my earlier youth when I had been reluctant to visit China… but I have changed since and now it’s a pleasure to spend time with family there.

Now that I am emotionally recharged and I have found some inspiration, I am ready to revamp my profile and explore new opportunities. =)
